Odds-N-Ends

This year mini sprint racer Gina Lowe will probably get more seat time than ever before.  Her family recently purchased two go-karts.  While Gina will be driving one of the karts, her son will be driving the other.  Best of luck to both.

If you've ever seen Willis Brothers Racing crew chief Patrick Willis you might guess that he would have trouble packing his large frame into a mini sprint.  While his size might not be conducive to fitting into a mini sprint, he is well suited for football -- Willis, former football captain of Tiffin University has made the roster at starting center for the new indoor football team, The Cincinnati Commandos.

American Mini Sprint Racer Merrill Calvert recently added to his collection of open wheeled racing cars with the purchase of a Spike midget with the new Eco-Tech engine.  The car was driven by Jacob Wilson at the Tulsa-Shoot Out.

Please keep ERC and MMSA founder Allen Ruppenthal in your prayers.  He is currently undergoing treatment for cancer.
