Weekend Wrap-up
AMSA 6/14/08 Twin Cities Raceway Park, North Vernon Indiana
It was a wild evening of racing as 19 mini sprints signed in for competition at North Vernon's Twin Cities Raceway Park. The evening was off to a scary start as the mini sprint of Evan Gindling blew an engine and caught fire during the first heat race. During the second heat race the cars of Doug Jones and J.R. Douglas came together sending Jones flipping high into the air. None of the drivers were injured, but their evenings were all finished.
The evening's feature event went green to checkered with second row starters Dustin Hueston and Scott Fasse taking the first two spots respectively, followed by third row starter Boyd Wolff. Front row starters Luke Wolff and Nathan Mensendiek would come home in fourth and fifth respectively.
